Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and maintain gardens, landscapes, and green areas.

• Identify plant species and recommend suitable plant selections based on soil, climate,

and design needs.

• Monitor plant health and implement pest, weed, and disease control measures.

• Conduct soil tests and recommend fertilization or amendment plans.

• Supervise planting, pruning, watering, and maintenance activities.

• Design seasonal planting schedules and landscape enhancement plans.

• Train and supervise ground staff or gardeners.

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainable practices.

• Maintain records of plant health, treatments, and inventory.

• Operate and maintain horticultural tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Horticulture, Agriculture, Botany, or a related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in a horticultural or landscaping role.

• Strong knowledge of plant biology, soil science, and pest management.

• Ability to identify plant diseases and implement treatment protocols.

• Familiarity with irrigation systems, fertilizers, and landscaping tools.

• Creative mindset with an eye for design and detail.

• Good organizational and supervisory skills.

• Physical stamina and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
