Position Summary for Chief Security Officer-Ludhiana (Retired Defence Officer preferred)
We are seeking a highly experienced and disciplined Chief Security Officer (CSO) to lead
and manage the security operations across our real estate developments located in
Ludhiana. The ideal candidate will have a background in law enforcement or armed
forces, with proven leadership skills and the ability to oversee a large team of security
personnel. The CSO will be responsible for developing and implementing security
strategies, ensuring the safety of assets, personnel, and properties, and maintaining
compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities of Chief Security Officer
Strategic Leadership:
o Develop and execute a comprehensive security strategy aligned with
business goals.
o Lead and manage a large team of security officers across multiple project
sites.
Operational Oversight:
o Monitor and assess security operations at all locations.
o Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
o Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services.
Personnel Management:
o Recruit, train, and supervise security staff
o Establish performance standards and conduct evaluations.
o Foster discipline, integrity, and professionalism within the team.
Incident Management:
o Lead investigations into security breaches, thefts, or other incidents.
o Prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.
Technology & Systems:
o Implement and manage surveillance systems, access control, and other
security technologies.
o Ensure proper maintenance and upgrades of security infrastructure.
Compliance & Reporting:
o Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and company policies.
o Maintain documentation and provide regular reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; military or police academy training highly
valued.
Experience: Minimum 10 years in security management, with at least 5 years in a
leadership role.
Background: Former police oƯicer, military personnel, or equivalent experience in
disciplined forces.
Skills:
o Strong leadership and organizational skills.
o Excellent communication and crisis management abilities.
o Proficiency in security technologies and systems.
o Ability to travel frequently and manage remote teams.
