Job description
Responsible for smooth running of Forge shop
Responsibility of Heat Treatment activities for mechanical testing samples.
Prepare Control Plans & Analyze Potential Failure Modes / Effects of production processes for identifying (FMEA) improvement areas.
Coordinate with an inter-departmental/CFT team of engineers conducting studies related to new grades & process improvement
Effective communication with customers for new products, quality issues and process Improvements.
Efficiently analyzing the technical specifications of the respective customers, provided technical assistance by understanding technical problems of customer related to steel & provided effective solutions.
Monitor overall production activity from core shop, melting, die casting, de-coring, gate cutting, and fettling, heat treatment, shot blasting.
Trouble shooting of various casting defects as well as the problems in regular operation of tools and machines.
Analysis of daily rejections and make counter plans
Supervise all operations and processes related to achievement of Production
Good knowledge about forging, casting & Heat Treatment process,
Responsible for daily production achievement.
