Responsibilities
Plant Operation Head-Bread & Buns at Bengaluru/ Noida – KRA’s
• Primary goal is to strengthen and improve Top Line by proper optimization of Man Power availability & optimum utilization of Material & resources, proper inventory management planning, Machine utilization & their maintenance planning & Methods and to ensuring production of the required quantities of quality Bread & Buns in required time frames.
• Secondary goal is to keep the costs down for bottom line strengthen by control direct expenses like RMPM cost, Wages, Fuel& Power, wastage and product Yield and Indirect Cost like Logistic cost, Admin cost, consumable cost, selling expanses, Depreciation, interest, and Maintenance cost etc. and to improve production methods, i.e. to find better and more economical ways of accomplishing the primary goal.
• Setting up daily review meetings reviewing the last 24hrs / next 24hrs performance and improving them where needed. • Setting up weekly review meetings to review long term trends within the business.
• Encourage culture of continuous improvements with improvement of present manufacturing process and technology adoption.
• Looking after all SCM activities at plant including Production, Maintenance planning, Quality Clearance, Dispatches, logistics etc. with concerned department.
• Managing production related tasks including maintenance planning, production control & troubleshooting for achieving the planned periodic schedules, within budgeted parameters.
• Total control and responsibility of warehousing, transportation, and finished goods inventory control activities, dispatches and logistics.
• Develop New Products to redefine market penetration and customer delight.
• Manage entire Plant Operations starting from technical (Machine development, Process design, vendor selection), production planning, manpower planning, Statutory & legal, IR, Procurement & Inventory management.
• Identifying manufacturing plants, carry out modifications needed, technical feasibility, production trials and commissioning 3P / own manufacturing plant.
• Industrial relation, Unions, Contract Labour Management, grievance handling and conflict resolution, statutory compliance, liaison with govt. authorities. Good exposure of long term settlement / negotiations with Union.
• Expertise in SAP implementation.
