Key Responsibilities:

Quantity Surveying Duties:

• Prepare and review BOQs based on drawings, specifications, and site measurements.

• Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimates for materials, labor, and services.

• Assist in the preparation of tender documents, cost analysis, and value engineering.

• Verify and validate contractor and vendor claims against actual work progress.

Billing Management Duties:

• Prepare and submit RA (Running Account) bills and final bills in accordance with

contract terms.

• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and clients for work measurement

and certification.

• Verify contractor bills and ensure accuracy with respect to executed work.

• Track and reconcile client supplied material and ensure timely checking of Bills.

• Maintain billing logs, measurement books, and payment tracking reports.

Contracts & Compliance:

• Support contract management by ensuring all billing activities align with contract

clauses.

• Liaise with finance, procurement, and site teams for approvals and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations (GST, TDS, etc.) and company

policies.

Reporting:

• Prepare monthly billing summaries, cost reports, and cash flow projections.

• Maintain documentation for audits and project reviews.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying and billing in

construction/infrastructure projects.

• Strong knowledge of rate analysis, BOQs, and billing procedures.

• Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and billing software (e.g., ERP, SAP, CCS Candy).

• Good understanding of construction drawings, contracts, and project workflows.

• Excellent analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
